About

Pura Vida

My name is Brigitte, and I am originally from Switzerland. In 1983, I founded Brigittes Ranch with the dream of living close to nature and surrounded by horses.

All of our horses are home-bred Criollos, a traditional local breed known for being calm, strong, and reliable. At the moment, we have ten horses. They live freely on two large pastures and spend most of their time outside in nature.

The wellbeing of the horses is very important to us. They are only ridden once a day at most and are treated with patience and respect.

Because of their calm character, they are suitable for children and beginners, but experienced riders can also enjoy riding them.

For us, the horses are not only part of the ranch — they are part of our everyday life.
